Costa Rica es un país chico de 5 millones de habitantes que ha tenido que adaptarse rápidamente a este cambio. Al ser líderes en educación a nivel del continente, hemos podido rápidamente adecuar la asistencia a escuelas físicas a escuelas virtuales. La comunicación y disminución de la brecha tecnológica ha facilitado mucho que los chicos usen diferentes apps de video conferencia para continuar aprendiendo en casa en medio de permanecer aislados socialmente.
El gobierno ha decretado restricción vehicular a partir de las 8 pm hasta las 5pm como medidas preventivas y acondicionando hospitales para atender a los afectados por el virus. En nuestro caso estamos aprovechando el tiempo de compartir y tomando la experiencia positivamente al tiempo de ser juiciosos y no salir de casa.

Costa Rica is a small country of 5 million inhabitants that has had to adapt quickly to this change. As leaders in education at the continental level, we have been able to quickly adapt attendance to physical schools to virtual schools. Communication and the reduction of the technological gap has greatly facilitated the use of different video conference apps for children to continue learning at home while remaining socially isolated.
The government has decreed a vehicle restriction from 8 pm to 5 pm as a preventive measure and is conditioning hospitals to care for those affected by the virus. In our case we are taking advantage of the time to share and taking the experience positively while being reasonable and not leaving home.
